Graham Walker - Graham Walker has an international reputation as one of the world's most insightful and dynamic eGovernment policy makers. From December 2003 to May 2004, Graham was seconded to the UK Government's Efficiency Review team where he led work with transactional departments to deliver service improvements and cash savings from the UK's eGovernment investment. From May to July 2004 he was Deputy Director of the UK Government's Efficiency Team. Since founding gov3, he has gained further ‘first hand' experience of eGov programme and policy development in Canada, South Africa, Finland, Slovenia and Romania.
Graham's most relevant experience includes:
- being the UK Government representative on the EU EPAN eGovernment Working Party.
- Having the responsibility for developing and delivering on the UK's market environment, universal accn broadband, digital inclusion and eGovernment
ess, broadband and eGovernment targets, and advised Ministers and the e-Envoy on the development and delivery of the UK Government's successful strategies
- building a large network on contacts in government and across all sectors in the UK and overseas, representing the UK Government in the US, Europe, and at the OECD
- developing an approach to international e-economy and eGovernment benchmarking that underpinned the world's first e-summit of G7 e-Envoy equivalents and provided a platform for the Prime Minister to report positively against his target of making the UK the world's best environment for e-commerce.
